After a one-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Natural Products Expo East (NPEE) kicked off on September 22nd with over 15,000 industry professionals in attendance at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. This was a planned improvement in 2020 from the previous Baltimore location.
Organizers were able to pull off an in-person show this year while new variants of Covid raised concern and two other fall shows – the Fancy Foods Show and Private Label Trade Show – were canceled or rescheduled into next year. A virtual option was also created where attendees could listen to presentations, receive samples, and visit select exhibitors on the virtual platform.
Both NPEE and their sister show Natural Products Expo West (NPEW) offer a Harvest Festival that showcases emerging and mature brands new food items including: drinks, snacks, and chocolate! All formulated with less sugar, salt, and no artificial flavors or additives.
